Suburban Hospital is committed to meeting the health care needs of our community at all times, but especially in times of crisis. As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic unfolds, Suburban Hospital is playing a critical role in providing essential and timely medical care and resources. Now is the time for all of us to work together to mitigate the effects of the virus.

The world’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic is unprecedented and we know that there are so many here in our community who are also anxious to help. Your gift to our Emergency Preparedness Fund will support efforts to provide our clinical teams with the resources needed to combat COVID-19 now as well as prepare for future needs as the crisis changes. These efforts include, but are not limited to:

• obtaining adequate quantities of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• acquiring specialized equipment, such as respirators and ventilators
• increasing security presence
• increasing staff to address patient surge and providing training
• making facility alterations to accommodate clinical care
• addressing the needs of our staff, including transportation, hotel stays, and meals (select Front-line Staff Support designation below)
