Donate to the Jacky Schultz Fund for Nursing Excellence

The Suburban Hospital Foundation is raising funds to support nursing excellence initiatives in honor of Jacky Schultz, MSN, RN.  After 15 years of outstanding service, Jacky Schultz retired as president of Suburban Hospital on October 1, 2020.

Having achieved so many key accomplishments, including helping Suburban Hospital achieve Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Jacky’s  wish is to leave the Suburban Hospital nursing program adequately funded for the future.

Each year, the Suburban Hospital Foundation provides more than $300,000 in funding support for critical nursing initiatives including clinical education, evidence-based research, patient care innovations and salary support. Expanding and enhancing our existing nursing excellence fund will solidify Jacky’s legacy of commitment to assuring outstanding and innovative patient care through the professional practice of nursing.

In an effort to assure Jacky’s legacy and further her commitment to advancing professional nursing practice for the benefit of patient care, we are seeking visionary donors who recognize nursing as the cornerstone of quality health care.
